Rework, Restyle & Rescue

Learn techniques to repair & renew what you already own

The roots of radical, sprawling tree roots, Jacob Buchhave

Sustain your style! One of the best things we can do for our wardrobe is keep our clothing in circulation and out of landfills.

Grandma said, “make due and mend”, ATS says mend and make it new. From visible mending and practical repair to up-cycling, keeping our clothing on our bodies and out of landfills is good for our wallets and the environment.

Together we will explore the tools and techniques used for practical repairs, alterations, and visible mending techniques.

We will dive into some of the most relevant and modern clothing up-cycling and renewal projects and tackle everything from denim and knits to furniture and keepsakes, all while keeping our need for newness and novelty in mind.
